Carolyn Williams: “I have recently inherited this picture. My grandfather commissioned it. He owned a coal shipping fleet in South Wales in the first quarter of the 20th century. I think one of his ships is in the picture. He lived in Penarth although the shipping line operated from Cardiff. The two portraits of schoolboys in the Cecil Round gallery are my father and my uncle. Pictures submitted by my niece.”
